Meet Your Game Master

Every Table Deserves
a Great Story

Hi, I'm Grant! I love a good story. It all started when I was a young lad, nose deep in my first fantasy books, The Belgariad, Mistborn, and Adventurers Wanted. I fell in love with the Hero's Journey and the fantastic worlds in which they live. I've been a Game Master for the past 7 years. When my friends and I decided to try playing Dungeons and Dragons for the first time, I felt like I had stepped into a book of my own! I am married to my best friend, Kiley — she is my inspiration and hero. I started Game N Gather because I love storytelling and getting lost in another world. Now I want to help gather fellow storytellers to find their own adventures!

What's a TTRPG, Anyway?

A tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) is a story you help tell out loud, together, around a table — no experience or special equipment required. Here's the shape of it:

You Create a Character

Choose who you want to be for the story — a hero, a rogue, a wizard, whoever you like.

A GM Guides the World

Your Game Master narrates the story, plays every character you meet, and keeps the adventure moving.

Dice Decide the Twists

When the outcome's uncertain, you roll — and the story bends around what the dice say.
